Keely and I were so excited for this new version of the Hermann Wine Trail and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely tremendous! From the Veggie Pizza to the Cashew Chicken Salad, we enjoyed every single bite. In fact, normally we share our food with the kids at home. We would each take a bite and then take the other plate to the kids so they could sample some of the great food we get to enjoy as well. This time, however, was a bit different and we decided to indulge and we are so glad we did.
One of the other amazing things that happened that makes the Farmer’s Table Wine Trail different was that they had representatives from findourcommonground.com. Each group of ladies at the different wineries specialized in a different farming experience. We met some pork farmers, beef farmers and even some corn and soybean farmers too. They were always so gracious to talk about their experiences and how different factors affect their industry.
As always we had such a great time! So thankful that the Wine Trail is here in Hermann but especially glad that they were able to put on this specific event as well. If they’re are looking for votes regarding if the Farmer’s Table should come back next year, they definitely have our two thumbs WAY up!!!
